Having joined the management team of the IT and consulting company msg on January 1, 2019, Karsten Redenius will further strengthen the company’s management team. He has been with the msg group for 10 years. Going forward, he will use his experience to drive the business fields of business consulting and ecosystems in his role as a member of the Board of Directors.

Karsten Redenius was born in Lower Saxony and has been with msg since 2009. He assumed management of m3 management consulting GmbH, an msg company, in 2012, where he successfully expanded the company’s consulting business in the utilities/energy and telecommunications industries. He will continue in his role as Managing Director of m3. Redenius has extensive experience in consulting, as well as in the management of major organizational units in a corporate environment. His particular fields of expertise lie in strategy development and implementation, as well as in the design, planning and realization of major transformation projects.

“A strong consulting team will allow us to better and more holistically assist our customers in their digital transformation – on both the business and technological side. We aim to achieve significant qualitative and quantitative growth in 2019, in order to be an even stronger partner to our customers in this environment,” says Karsten Redenius. “After all, successful digital transformation takes more than just IT. It is also important to develop new business models and processes that can then be mapped using innovative IT products and platforms.”

Specifically among these new business models are ecosystems that can go beyond the limits of individual industries. Karsten Redenius plans to further refine msg’s end-to-end portfolio in that
context and to effectively expand the technological capability of the group to include business facets and collaborative approaches. After all, as an industry expert with know-how in a total of nine different industries and with innovation labs and centers of competence, msg is in an excellent position to bundle different service elements to form one service and thus be active in ecosystems that are tailored to the specific demands of their customers.
