This collaboration builds on the success of the longstanding msg and AWS collaboration, to accelerate the digital transformation of existing and new customers.
As a result of this agreement, msg and AWS will join forces to bring the best of technological expertise, innovation, proven industry expertise, and deep local knowledge to address the demand for cloud migration, modernization and cloud-based solutions. Both companies will work with enterprises and SMBs in Insurance, Banking, Automotive and Manufacturing, Travel, Logistics, Network Industries and Consumer Products to enable them to transform their business on the cloud using advanced and secure AWS technologies.
msg will offer customers in highly regulated industries, such as financial services, end-to-end cloud services including cloud migration, development, FinOps, and others. msg’s leading products will also be made available on the cloud via SaaS deployment models. Customers across industries can benefit from msg's ability to migrate applications highly automated on a large scale and from its expertise in developing new cloud-native applications. The expanded collaboration comes at a time when many companies plan to migrate their core systems and applications to the cloud. msg and AWS are therefore bundling experience and expertise to enable customers to accelerate their transformation.
"By deepening our collaboration with AWS, we are taking another big step in building a comprehensive offering of cloud products and services to serve all customer needs," said msg CEO Dr. Jürgen Zehetmaier. "Our goal is to address the challenges of many enterprises with SaaS solutions, cloud strategy and industry-specific cloud consulting services."
Some of the most disruptive applications of cloud computing are in the automotive and transportation industry where enterprises recognize the need to transition to the cloud to improve operational efficiencies, realize cost savings and support customers.
Ralf Zimmermann, Head of Software Development at DB Fernverkehr: "With the help of msg's specific industry expertise, we were able to launch the open beta version of the new sales platform for DB Fernverkehr in October 2022. We are now successfully running 120 microservices for this platform in the AWS Cloud. The dedicated team at msg, in combination with the manifold possibilities of the AWS platform, enables us to accelerate the migration of the existing system landscape. This makes us even more excited about the next steps in the collaboration between msg and AWS."
