Working together for digital accessibility: At the new msg BiN GmbH, people with and without impairments work hand in hand 

Munich, February 2, 2023 – msg and inclou., the market-leading consulting company in the social economy on the topic of inclusion, have jointly launched  msg BiN GmbH. The aim of the new company is to test information and communication technology for digital accessibility together with impaired and non-impaired people, and to provide advice and training.

Breaking down digital barriers

As an IT consulting and service company, msg BiN supports the implementation of digital accessibility. In other words, ensuring that limitations in seeing, hearing, moving or processing information do not have a negative impact on the delivery of content via digital media such as websites. Because: People with impairments face the barriers of the digital world every day. Breaking these barriers down or preventing them from arising in the first place is what msg BiN strives to do. People with and without impairments are working hand in hand to achieve this.

Digital products are mainly tested by people with impairments. They have experience of which obstacles users encounter in life and how to make access to applications barrier-free. Christian Höfflin emphasizes: "I can't program because of my impairment, but I really wanted to work in an IT-related field.
